What you should enjoy:

  • Act as a competent point of reference and, in coordination with the HR Manager, provide smooth, efficient and proactive advice to the team on all payroll related issues
  • The preparation and execution of monthly payroll accounting in compliance with tax and social security framework conditions, incl. upstream and downstream processes
  • Be responsible for the reporting procedure between the employer and the social insurance institutions as well as the tax authorities.
  • Take over the area of financial accounting, including the posting of current business processes and the preparation of payment runs as well as the issuing of invoices and checking of incoming invoices.
  • The preparation of the monthly advance turnover tax return and the monthly financial statements
  • The preparation of the annual financial statements in cooperation with the tax advisor
  • The maintenance and creation of the inventory list
  • The processing of travel expense and credit card claims
  • Keeping in touch with the latest trends, thinking outside the box and acting as an impulse generator

What you should bring with you:

  • Commercial training and several years of professional experience in comparable functions related to payroll accounting and/or financial accounting
  • Profound knowledge in the area of payroll accounting as well as in wage tax and social security law
  • Confident handling of payroll software (preferably DATEV) and MS Office applications
  • A strong service orientation coupled with strong communication skills
  • A structured, forward-looking and precise way of working, characterised by discretion
