WAYES on Tour – our trip to the Harz Mountains

The programme for our first trip to the HEARTS HOTEL in Braunlage was not just about nature and activities – but above all about working together.
On Thursday morning, we started with our know-how transfer. This regular meeting is a key component of our corporate culture: learning from each other. Colleagues from different areas shared their experiences, presented projects and gave insights into challenges and solutions from their consulting practice. The focus was on sharing knowledge across team boundaries – with the aim of benefiting from each other and making our work even more effective and solution-orientated.
After a shared lunch, the afternoon was spent out in the fresh air: whether hiking through the national park or on an e-mountainbike – nature became a space for a relaxed exchange away from the meeting room. This led to conversations that are often neglected in everyday working life. Afterwards, we ended the afternoon together in the sun. We laughed, discussed and raised a glass together – and that’s exactly what brought the team noticeably closer together.
In the evening, everyone came together again at the hotel – this time on the terrace: we brought the day to an atmospheric close with a barbecue and open fire.
Friday morning offered time to relax and reflect with a yoga class and an extended breakfast. Many small conversations, shared laughter and new impulses also accompanied this second day.
What remains is a strengthened team spirit, an even better understanding of each other – and the realisation that good collaboration is not only created on project plans, but in real cooperation.
