Can I send an unsolicited application?

We are also happy to accept unsolicited applications. We have already recruited several colleagues in this way. If you are unsure whether your qualifications meet our requirements or whether the position is right for you, simply get in touch with Olivia.

There is no general answer to this question, as the client’s expectations are always decisive. In general, however, we are not a consultancy with a standard travelling schedule from Monday to Thursday. On average, travelling can be estimated at 30 to 40 percent.

How much travelling is involved?

What is your policy on mobile working?

Each team member can determine their own place of work, which is why we have created hybrid working structures. With the help of our tools, communication with our clients and the project team is guaranteed at all times. During the induction period (the first 6 months), however, we attach great importance to on-site exchanges in the office in order to gain the best possible foothold in the team and in the projects.

For us, team spirit is the most important thing. We organise various events throughout the year, including summer/Christmas parties, spontaneous after-work events, sporting events such as the HafenCity Run in Hamburg or the B2Run in Berlin and monthly site lunches, where colleagues from other locations can also spontaneously join us.

What formats do you have for employee events?

What is the dress code at WAYES?

In general, we follow the “business casual” dress code. Depending on the type of appointment, e.g. for external customer meetings or appointments in the office, the look must be adapted accordingly.

All our new colleagues start with an onboarding day at our head office in Hamburg. Here you will be introduced to our tools, process organisation, etc. and get to know some of the WAYES team at a welcome lunch.

You will also receive a learning path tailored to your consultant level with various relevant training courses to be completed via our e-learning tool or Microsoft Teams. To make your start easier, you will have a personal buddy at your respective location who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

At the consultant level, the focus is generally on broad training in all four business areas. You will have the opportunity to gain heterogeneous insights within the Restructuring, Transaction, Litigation, CFO Services and Tax Advisory as well as Interim business areas and then specialise as you progress to Consultant level.

How can I imagine the onboarding process?
