As at the beginning of every year, we would like to provide an economic outlook for 2023 and highlight opportunities and risks in various areas.
Rarely have ups and downs been so close together. Last year, 2022, was supposed to be a year of recovery after the Corona pandemic. However, the war in Ukraine, enormous energy and raw material prices, supply chain problems and the shortage of skilled workers were major challenges for many sectors.
The year 2023 continues these challenges for the time being, with signs of a cautious recovery in many sectors. Corona is still an issue, but it is moving into the background. The get-together and social exchange on site are being rediscovered and lived in many places.
