caleoglas: Strategic investors secure locations & jobs

With its broad product portfolio of design glass, insulating glass, safety glass and special functions as well as broad coverage of the value chain in the context of glass transformation, the caleoglas Group offers its customers solutions for almost every application.

In a challenging market environment characterised by the difficult economic situation, the WAYES transaction team, in cooperation with Eckert Rechtsanwälte, succeeded in finding strong strategic investors for several locations. Thanks to these viable investor solutions, these sites and all their jobs can be led into a promising future:

• In the insolvency proceedings of Caleoglas Nord GmbH, the Rostock site was transferred to Hanseglas Rostock with effect from 1 March 2025.
• In the self-administration proceedings of Caleoglas Süd GmbH, the Murr site near Stuttgart was sold to SEMCO with effect from 1 March 2025.
• In the insolvency proceedings of Caleoglas Glaskontor Erfurt, the Erfurt site was transferred to Thiele Glas with effect from 16 March 2025.
• Lawyer Andreas Romey was appointed as insolvency administrator and trustee for the companies of the caleoglas Group. Lawyer Dr Justus Kortleben from the law firm Brinkmann Weinkauf accompanied the self-administration of Caleoglas Süd GmbH as general representative.
