Welcome, Marcel and Sophia!

We are delighted to welcome two new colleagues to our Hamburg office. Welcome, Marcel and Sophia!

Marcel Weist will start as a manager at WAYES on 1 September. His career path combines practical entrepreneurial thinking with a solid academic education: after training as a real estate agent and a period as a freelancer in the real estate industry, he completed a bachelor’s degree in international management and a master’s degree in real estate management. Professional positions at KPMG and Colliers have focused his career on transaction consulting. Now the time is right for Marcel to change perspective – away from rigid corporate structures and towards a broader professional setup. We are delighted that he is bringing his expertise and entrepreneurial mindset to our team.

Sophia Hawlitzki will also be joining our Hamburg office on 1 September. As a trained hotel manager and former management trainee at Hotel Spielweg (Münstertal), she was responsible for the front office and quality control. As a front office supervisor, she most recently gained extensive experience in renowned establishments such as Le Méridien and Hotel Atlantic. Born in Berlin and now living in Hamburg, she is looking for a new challenge in everyday office life. We are convinced that her strong service orientation, her eye for quality and her leadership experience will bring valuable impetus to our team.
