New Manager School: Interesting facts from the kitchen

Leadership means taking on responsibility. And growing into that responsibility.

That is why the development of our new managers at WAYES is particularly important to us. Through our New Manager School, we aim to provide targeted support to our colleagues even after they have taken their next career step, to foster their development and to strengthen the exchange of ideas amongst them.

After all, a new role brings with it not only new tasks and responsibilities, but also new questions, challenges and perspectives. This makes it all the more important for us to create space to share experiences, learn from one another and grow together.

Our most recent meeting showed that this doesn’t always have to take place in a traditional workshop format.

This time, our new managers headed to Olivia’s Cooking School in Eimsbüttel together with some of our partners. In a relaxed atmosphere, cooking together provided a slightly different setting in which to strike up conversations, ask questions about their new roles and openly discuss experiences, expectations and challenges.

After all, that is precisely what defines our New Manager School: not just imparting knowledge, but also fostering personal exchange and supporting our new managers on their journey. Many thanks to everyone who attended and made this evening together so enriching!
