Insolvency law in dialogue – WAYES in Berlin

Sunny and Maria represented WAYES at the 17th Annual Conference of the Neue Insolvenzrechtsvereinigung Deutschland e.V. (New Insolvency Law Association of Germany) at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin. The conference is considered one of the leading platforms for professional exchange between insolvency administrators, consultants and the judiciary – and once again offered exciting discussions at the interface between practice and law.

The focus was on topics that are also relevant to our daily work in insolvency and restructuring consulting:

• the current case law of the Federal Court of Justice (BGH) in insolvency matters,

• the evaluation of the StaRUG and the question of necessary adjustments,

• the European Harmonisation Directive and its impact on companies,

• and the perspective of creditors on ongoing proceedings.

It was particularly valuable for us not only to follow these developments, but also to actively participate in the exchange. The dialogue with leading experts confirms our approach: insolvency consulting is more than just crisis management – it is scope for creating sustainable solutions.
