In dry cloths: Roca Group acquires Alape GmbH

WAYES was able to reach a satisfactory solution for the insolvent manufacturer Alape: The Roca Group is taking over the company and 100 employees – 27 others are voluntarily transferring to a transfer company. The brand and production with 125 years of tradition in Goslar will remain with the full product range!

As a manufacturer of sanitary ceramics, bathroom and kitchen furniture, the Spanish Roca Group employs 21,000 people worldwide and generates an annual turnover of two billion euros.

With the opening of insolvency proceedings on 1 October 2023 by the Goslar District Court, Silvio Höfer (Anchor Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH) was appointed as insolvency administrator. With today’s execution, the business operations will be transferred to the Roca Group retroactively to the opening date.
