Future prospects for Eisenbach GmbH

An important milestone for a long-established company: M & V Metallbearbeitung & Vorrichtungsbau GmbH, a subsidiary of the SANTENBERG Group, is taking over the business operations of switch cabinet manufacturer Eisenbach GmbH. From 1 January 2026, the site in Wächtersbach near Hanau will continue to operate – with a new ownership structure and clear prospects for the future.
WAYES led the investor process as part of the insolvency proceedings and, as a team, worked with Silvan Drasch to see it through to successful completion. Around five months after the insolvency application was filed, a restructuring transfer was implemented as part of the insolvency proceedings. This was made possible by the close and constructive cooperation of all parties involved – in particular the employees, customers, suppliers and the Federal Employment Agency. The majority of jobs will be retained, and ongoing orders and customer relationships will be continued and specifically expanded.
With the SANTENBERG Group, Eisenbach gains a strategically experienced investor that covers the entire industrial value chain in mechanical engineering. The ‘control cabinets’ production profile ideally complements the Santenberg Group’s existing enclosure manufacturing – a strong industrial fit with long-term prospects.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to insolvency administrator Alexander Pilgrim (hww hermann wienberg wilhelm) for his outstanding cooperation, as well as to all those involved who made this new start possible under challenging market conditions.
We congratulate everyone on this successful solution and wish Eisenbach and the new shareholder every success on their joint journey.
This is a successful example of how restructuring, industrial expertise and entrepreneurial spirit can secure the future.
