Two special anniversaries – a reason to celebrate!

Today at WAYES, we have two reasons to celebrate: we’re marking two special anniversaries 🎉

Christoph Kraemer has been part of WAYES for 25 years and is therefore one of the people who have helped build and develop our company from the very beginning. From its founding as comes Unternehmensberatung to today’s WAYES, Christoph has been involved in and actively shaped many important milestones along our journey. As a partner, he is responsible for the areas of restructuring and litigation, and is a key figure for us both professionally and personally.

Whether he’s out sailing, thinking of his beloved South Africa, or on his journey from petrolhead to committed electric car driver: Christoph remains curious and open-minded, and takes his work seriously – though, fortunately, he doesn’t always take himself too seriously.

Stefan Wechsung, a partner at WAYES, sums it up perfectly: “25 years sounds like a long time, but with Christoph it never feels that way. He is one of those people who truly shape a company. With his sound judgement, his experience and a knack for knowing when clarity is needed and when a well-chosen phrase achieves more than any strategy paper, he is indispensable to both our team and our clients. I’m looking forward to the next 25 years with you.”

Heinz Baumann is celebrating his 10th anniversary at WAYES and has come a long way during this time: from intern and working student to senior manager. For many years, Heinz has been an integral part of our Hamburg office

It comes as little surprise that Heinz is just as committed outside the office. Whether it’s preparing for the Challenge Roth or, in the past, playing table tennis at the very highest level: when Heinz does something, he does it properly.

He brings a calm, positive energy that holds a team together, even when things get tough.
