Strategic investors found for CWM

Our M&A team can report another success: Investors have been found for Oldenburg-based specialist wholesaler Carl Wilh. Meyer GmbH & Co. KG (CWM) and its subsidiary, van Hettinga GmbH. The Meesenburg Group will take over essential assets, in particular the warehouse and parts of the operating and office equipment, as part of an asset deal. A week earlier, van Hettinga GmbH, Aurich, was sold to a company of the Schüt-Duis Group by way of a share deal. We would like to thank the insolvency administrator Dr Hendrik Heerma for the great cooperation.

As an owner-managed company, the Meesenburg Group can look back on a success story that has lasted for over 250 years. The wholesale business specialises in goods and services from the construction range for commercial customers. The Schüt-Duis Group deals in window and door technology and is one of the most successful German manufacturers of insulating glass, conservatories, roller shutters and insect screens.
