SHOT Logistics GmbH: Successful takeover

YES! Takeover of all employees and retention of the Hamburg site – a strategic investor takes over SHOT Logistics GmbH, which is currently undergoing insolvency proceedings, with retroactive effect from 1 November 2024.

The northern German company with expertise in international transport, warehousing and logistics was confronted with a significant decline in customer demand as a result of the Ukraine crisis and the upheavals in international freight transport and was therefore forced to file for insolvency at Hamburg Local Court on 2 September 2024. The Hamburg district court appointed the experienced insolvency expert Finn Peters as provisional insolvency administrator. After two months of continued operations during the insolvency proceedings, a strategic investor was found to take over all 30 employees of SHOT Logistics GmbH and maintain the Hamburg site.

With the acquisition of SHOT Logistics GmbH, the purchaser is strengthening its team with qualified experts with know-how in the international transport, warehousing and logistics sector and securing certified warehouse premises with favourable transport connections.

WAYES supported the team led by insolvency administrator Finn Peters (SGP Schneider Geiwitz Wirtschaftsprüfer Steuerberater Rechtsanwälte PartGmbB) with the operational commercial issues relating to the continuation of operations in the insolvency proceedings and initiated an investor process at short notice, which has now been successfully concluded.
