Asset Deal at A. W. Niemeyer

As part of an asset deal, selected assets of A. W. Niemeyer GmbH, a traditional specialist in the sale of boat and yacht accessories, will be transferred to awn GmbH (a subsidiary of E-SCALE group GmbH). This ensures that the 278-year history continues for the customers. With the E-SCALE group, a buyer has been found who already has extensive experience with established brands – such as bootszubehoer.de and bootsholz.de. At awn.de, the company wants to continue to offer products related to boating accessories in the familiar guise, with the usual variety of products, with the best service and with new incentives.

“Our strong team of industry and online trade professionals is looking forward to leading such a traditional brand into the future. With the declared aim of combining old values and new incentives,” says Christian Kettl, Managing Director of E-SCALE group GmbH.

A. W. Niemeyer had to file for insolvency on 23 January 2023. The Hamburg District Court appointed lawyer Stefan Denkhaus (partner at BRL BOEGE ROHDE LUEBBEHUESEN, Hamburg).
