Maria looks back on a project that began under particularly challenging circumstances for her and her team. The company was in the midst of insolvency proceedings. There was a great deal of uncertainty amongst the workforce, the tension in day-to-day working life was palpable, and the support provided by the project team was initially viewed with scepticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their concerns were understandable: would new processes create additional complexity in what was already a stressful situation? Would the team really understand the practical workflows and the needs of the people on the ground?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the course of the project, Maria and her colleagues managed to demonstrate exactly the opposite. With clear structures, transparent processes and close collaboration with the staff on the ground, they gradually provided guidance and made day-to-day work noticeably easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial scepticism gave way to trust. So much trust, in fact, that at the end of the project the team was asked if they would like to stay on permanently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Maria, this moment is a striking example of what constitutes good consultancy in crisis situations. Technical expertise is just as important as a team that listens, takes responsibility and works together to develop reliable solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
