The industrial site of the former L\u00fcneburg ironworks at Gebr\u00fcder-Heyn-Stra\u00dfe 1 has been successfully sold. The buyer is the regionally based company SALLIER Immobilien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WAYES, together with Robert C. Spies Industrial Real Estate, supported the structured sales process for the industrial property at Gebr\u00fcder-Heyn-Stra\u00dfe 1 in L\u00fcneburg. The seller of the property is Dr Malte K\u00f6ster, partner at the law firm K\u00d6STERBERNER, in his capacity as insolvency administrator of Focast L\u00fcneburg GmbH (L\u00fcneburg ironworks). The buyer is the L\u00fcneburg-based company SALLIER Immobilien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Focast L\u00fcneburg GmbH filed for insolvency proceedings at the end of 2024 and initially continued operations. After the last potential investor withdrew its interest in a takeover, a socially acceptable closure of the company was negotiated in close consultation with the works council and IG Metall trade union for 1 March 2025, and an orderly liquidation process was initiated. The sale of the property in a lively sales process represents the final step in the liquidation of the company<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The site is located in close proximity to L\u00fcneburg harbour in a designated industrial area and has direct connections to the harbour and the city centre. The property covers around 45,400 m\u00b2 and has a total of approximately 15,000 m\u00b2 of rental space. The site has been used as an ironworks since the 1970s and has a long industrial tradition. With its acquisition by a regional investor and project developer, the site now has new prospects for use. Plans include the renovation of the existing areas and subsequent further development in order to preserve the industrial character while creating modern conditions for commercial and production uses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
