Diversity strengthens us – not just on International Women’s Day✌🏾✌🏻✌🏽

Every year, International Women’s Day reminds us that equality is far from being a matter of course. In many industries, women are still underrepresented, earn less on average than men and find it harder to reach management positions. Issues such as fair career opportunities, work-life balance and a non-discriminatory corporate culture are the focus of attention today – because, unfortunately, they are still not a matter of course for many women.
Even though we know that there is still a long way to go socially, we are proud that these issues do not play a role at WAYES. Because we do not discriminate on the basis of gender – not in terms of pay, not in terms of promotion opportunities and not in terms of promoting talent. What counts for us is expertise, personality and performance.
We are convinced that diverse teams are more successful and are actively committed to equal opportunities – with concrete results:
- 36% of our employees are women,
- 17 % of them already hold a management position,
- 100% have the same opportunities as their male colleagues – a matter of course that is non-negotiable for us.
